Join us in Muine Bheag (Bagenalstown) Co. Carlow between the Barrow and the Blackstairs for a week of celebration of all that is good in Irish Culture. As co-hosts, the annual Bagenalstown Summer Madness festival in conjunction with Barrow Tourism Association will include a week of activities for all the family including swimming and fishing competitions, vintage funfair, puppet shows, canoeing, history and biodiversity talks and lots more family fun.

Over the weekend 13th to 15th July and in partnership with the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland and Waterways Ireland we present Float to the Fleadh which will see a flotilla of boats of all sizes arrive into Muine Bheag.

We are also delighted to bring you the Silver Spear Session Trail in association with the Carlow Distillery Silver Spear based in Fenagh. A host of traditional musicians will play across several venues over the Fleadh weekend. Join in, listen and enjoy the mighty entertainment during the session trail.
